Socially Conscious Favors

A tip from Modern Bride...Socially conscious couples take note: Serving sweets at your wedding can give more than a sugar high. Bake Me a Wish! donates 5 percent of each purchase of their cakes to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. And 10 percent of the proceeds from Endangered Species Chocolate benefit the Ocean Conservancy. Happy Planning!

Protecting Your Engagement Ring

After calling your parents and best buds to share the exciting news of your engagement, make sure to call your insurance company. Put your ring on your homeowner's policy as soon as possible in case something happens to it. Your fiance should have a certificate of appraisal so you know what rate to insure it at. And don't forget to renew the policy every year. Thanks to Brides.com for the advice!
